Open Python ver. 3.6 from cmd line on Windows

If you want to open up Python ver. 3.6 or any other versions from command line on Windows system.  Do the following:


  • Go to Start menu > type cmd in the search box>Press ENTER
  • In the command prompt type py -3.6
  • Press ENTER

If you have a different version of python install, just replace 3.6 with that version.
